Absolu Living Nice

The French Riviera has an abundance of fantastic hotel options to choose from but sometimes you just want that touch of home feeling.

Fortunately for everyone there is Absolu Living, a gay accommodations company to help you find a cozy place to stay.

Absolu Living has a wide selection of fully furnished apartments throughout Nice and the surrounding area that can be rented for a short weekend stay, a vacation period or longer.  And with over 41 listings available, finding something to suit your tastes and budget will not be a problem.

Having a few days before my own personal apartment was going to be ready to move into, and with a weekend full of events planned in Nice that I needed to attend, a friend who was also arriving in Nice suggested we try out the Absolu Living concept as we had always heard about their solid reputation from friends.

What I like about the Absolu Living website is the general overview of the apartments, everything from studios to three bedroom accommodations can be had and with that comes an array of photographs and a complete description plus map of each place available to help you make your decision.

Location was important to me because of my work that weekend, but even with having a specific requirement there were still many options to choose from, my friend and I also liked that the list of amenities for each place was provided along with the prices and other details.

As I was busy, after we made our choice, my buddy completed the online check-in procedure and shortly afterwards he was contacted by Emmanuel who manages all the operations in Nice.

My friend met up with Emmanuel and they both did an inspection of the apartment, finished up the paperwork and was given the keys to the place.  Super easy.

We found the apartment to be perfect, and the details that were listed on the Absolu Living website were 100% accurate.  It was clean, bright, quiet and tastefully decorated, it felt like home.

Needless to say, the whole weekend went off without a hitch.  We would fully recommend using their services in Nice and personally can’t wait to try out their other locations in Paris and Montpellier.

Where would the French Riviera be if it wasn’t for its internationally known jet set scene?

Part of that scene can certainly be attributed to Anthony and Thibaud, two locals in the region who started with a few exclusive private parties held back in 2005.

Before they knew it, their imaginative and ultra-chic events were in high demand and so with that the Rainbow Power Group was born!

What’s refreshing about the Rainbow Power events is they don’t seem to just be trying to cash in on the pink dollar.  These are intricately planned gay events that are inclusive to everyone, heterosexuals included.

They spend a lot of time and effort striving diligently to provide the best in entertainment value at a very reasonable price and do their best to put the French Riviera’s nightlife on the map.

You know when you go to a Rainbow Power event, it’s not just a party, it is going to be an experience.

The caliber of their events is unsurpassed and full of inspiration, there is an excess to these parties that take you away from your everyday life.  From the hottest dancers, to the intricate light shows, it’s all a feast for the senses.

Walking into one of the events is like stepping into another world as the venues are redesigned from top to bottom with no detail left unchecked and they always provide the best music from talented DJ’s and other forms of entertainment.

And these boys don’t just keep their act in the French Riviera, having honed their skills for years, the Rainbow Power Group is now one of the biggest event management companies in France, bringing their shows to other places like Bordeaux, Paris and Barcelona to name a few.

They will even be a huge part of the celebrations at EuroPride 2013 in Marseille this year!
